As you are aware, the entire nation is following the lockdown for 21 days to support the Government to combat COVID 19.

Though the Airport and Seaports which are essential services are working full time, the challenges faced by the manufacturing companies and the logistics sector are many. In spite of the government providing necessary support through their regular updates and circulars, there are a lot of practical difficulties while moving the goods from the ports to the destination and vice versa. The Chamber has been regularly interacting with the concerned authorities in this regard.

 

The Chamber has also been receiving numerous queries relating to the above in the COVID 19 helpdesk and we have been providing our inputs and guidance, through the logistic expert committee.

 

With a view to reach out to our members as a whole, the Chamber is scheduling an Interactive Session through a zoom call  on 7^th April 2020 (today) between 4pm and 5pm anchored by Chairman, Logistics Committee to update about the current position concerning the EXIM trade and to provide clarifications wherever possible.
