The World is changing, Business is changing. With globalisation, there are new opportunities as well as new risks for businesses.  As business has changed, so has the role of finance. The responsibilities of the Finance leaders have evolved to encompass everything from business strategy to operations to IT risk management.

With changes happening at rapid speed in businesses, regulations are evolving at a faster rate.  Financial reporting which is an integral part of an organisation has gained enormous significance and it expected to be transparent and up to the expectations of the various stakeholders. Used appropriately and ahead of time, the changes in financial reporting can become effective tools to reflect business reality and economics. It is therefore important to understand how the changes in the financial reporting landscape needs to be anticipated and aligned as part of the business strategy.

To understand the implications and procedures, under the auspices of the MCCI Company Law Committee, the Chamber has scheduled a half-a-day session on Ind AS on Saturday, the 30th June 2018 at E Hotel, Pattulos Road, Chennai-600002.  The meeting shall commence at 10 am (9.30 am Registration of delegates) and conclude with lunch.
