The Chamber had a successful conference on CSR – The Next Phase in February 2016, with the objective of discussing the path of CSR post 2013 regime and the challenges and opportunities faced, while carrying out the CSR activities. We had a wonderful participation and as a responsible Chamber encouraging CSR spending in a right way, we are happy to inform you that the Chamber, under the auspices of its Expert Committee on CSR, is organizing a Conference on “Corporate Social Responsibility” on March 3, 2017 between 4 .30 pm and 8.00 pm followed by dinner at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Chennai – 18 and would declare the day as “CSR Day”. Going forward, we would have  more activities to mark our commitment towards CSR. 

The objective of this year’s Conference is to understand the CSR agenda and implementation process by Corporate and NGO’s. The Conference would have sessions wherein the Corporate and NGO’s would showcase their new approaches  in CSR through case studies.   We have a gamut of speakers from Corporate and NGO to address on various aspects of the CSR. The tentative program is given below for your reference.

Further, the Chamber is happy  to  commence a MCCI Certificate Program on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on March 4th 2017 for the executives  to examine their current CSR programs,  to innovate and develop an overarching CSR strategy that reflects the unique requirements and goals of the company. This program will be formally launched on the CSR Day event on 3^rd March.
