Message from President & Vice President to Members

Dear Members,

We will emerge stronger on the other side of this pandemic!

These are challenging times for all of us. Regardless of our individual situations, it is difficult to deal with such a broad and sudden disruption of our day-to-day lives and businesses.

We want to emphasize that during these times nothing is more important than the health and well-being of employees and families of our member companies.

We want to let you know that the General Committee of the Chamber is meeting every two days virtually over Zoom to discuss issues that members face and see how best they can be addressed or resolved. We are compiling a list of recommendations from the different sub-committees and shall present it to the government for an accelerated revival of industry and commerce in the state.

At the same time, the Chamber has a couple of asks from you:

  1. Please send in any of your ideas and recommendations to address hardships you face to represent with the government and other appropriate agencies at the federal and state levels

  2. We are sure that all of you are using your CSR funds to support different initiatives. We would appeal to you to contribute to the relief fund of the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers of different states, especially if you have operations in these states. Here is a quick link that gives you a consolidated view of all relief funds: (https://www.investindia.gov.in/bip/resources/state-and-national-relief-funds-accepting-donations-covid-19)

We take this opportunity to thank you for your continuing support as we work through a very fluid, rapidly evolving situation. You can be rest assured that the Chamber will do everything it can to work with the government and other bodies to help businesses to emerge stronger on the other side of this pandemic.
